My Creed

God the Father is the omniscient omnipresent omnipotent creator of the universe. God the father controls and knows all things; past, present and future. The father has divinely ordained all things. He is the unchanging perfect God of the Bible.
God the spirit is responsible for acting on the hearts and minds of all men. He is divinely responsible for turning all elect Christians to God. The Spirit is responsible for removing and placing the restraining hand of God on the hearts of all men, according to the father’s will. The spirit is responsible for the divine inspiration of the scripture. The Spirit is also responsible for convicting the hearts of men as to their sin.
The Son was sent to earth by the Father as a perfect sacrifice to save the souls of all men who believe. He came to earth and died to save sinful people that persecuted him and he rose again on the third day to fulfill the messianic covenant. Jesus was fully man and fully God in one on earth.
Man was created in God’s image at the beginning of time. Man was created without sin but through disobedience corrupted himself and became innately sinful. Men are then saved by faith in Christ’s sacrifice and can now spend eternity with God in heaven. Men around the world will see Christ’s saving glory during the second coming. Man’s salvation is completely due to Christ and God’s plan, for man is unable and to save himself.

Looks like someone has been totally Grace Brethrenized...with your predestination and whatnot...

Not so much Grace Brethrenized as Calvinized. Sorry if I like my doctrine Biblically accurate.

"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1 John 2:2).

and john 3.16 are some of my favorites.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenlies in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world" (Eph. 1:3)

Anyone can be saved but God has chosen who will be.

First of all, by us, he means the world, therefore eeryone is chosen to receive his blessing, in which we have the choice to take it or not. And then there is the matter of not being able to lose your faith, which is also totally lame. If I stopped believing in God tomorrow, I all of a sudden never believed? Sounds like Calvin trying to cover holes in his doctrine.

No he is actually writing to the saints (Christians) in Ephesus(in Ephesians 1:3. Further more, if God has truly elected you, you will not lose your faith. If God has not, you never truly possessed the necessary faith. Either way the Bible clearly states he is the Alfa and Omega and all things happen according to his plan, sounds like predestination.

For God so loved the world...for "whosoever believes"...theres a famous example, its almost as if you have to choose to believe in him after he gave his son for the world, oh wait, it is that way. Does God know? Yes, does he choose? No.

Hey Hayden, how do you post pictures on your blog?

For pictures you simply copy and past them. As to your comment. As to your verse yes we must believe but those that believe are predestined to do so.
Ephesians 1
1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
To the saints in Ephesus,[a] the faithful[b] in Christ Jesus:
2Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Spiritual Blessings in Christ
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he[c] predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace 8that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. 9And he[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
11In him we were also chosen,[e] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory.
