Apathy

Apathy is one of the largest problems facing the world as we know it. Whether you are a Christian or not apathy, has become a plague on modern society. Apathy has led to youth and adults alike feeling as though the things around them are out of control or simply not worthy of their attention. Examples of this are prevalent in our day to day culture, for example in Iraq no matter how you spin it we are saving lives and the quality of life has gone up. To say such an act is reproachable is not only wrong but shows the apathy of that person towards the well being of others. If people in the world just thought about how they would like being in that situation the world would be a better place. Apathy towards the world is just a plague plain and simple.

Crap Fuzzy, do you really have to put down everything Hayden says, especially since he doesn'treally care about your input. And the life of an Iraqi and the life of an American are the same value.

Fortunately soldiers don't choose who they want to fight, they follow orders. And by becoming a soldier, they knew that they could possibly face death and fight for a cause that they themselves might not agree with, selective service, they chose. We'd have a terrible army if soldiers fought based off of if thy wanted to or not.
